1. The heat sinks are attached with an 8 mm long steel M3 bolt. From the rear face of the board, it goes: bolt head, PCB, heat sink, voltage regulator, M3 washer, M3 bolt. Thermally conductive paste should also be applied in between the voltage regulator and the heat sink. There is no need for any insulating pads between any of the layers.
Could you provide the necessary standard washers and bolts and apply paste? Unfortunately they were omitted from the BOM as an oversight.
2. The front panels specified on the BOM should come with ejector handles, which act as the connector between front panel and PCB. And all the screws should also be included with part.
Are the handles present and is it just the screws that are missing? Is it possible to verify with Elma that all the front panel parts were in fact delivered?
Apologies for any inconveniences caused.
We will ensure these issues are rectified on the next order which will be for 400 of these boards.
