If you make an fresh installation or a update always make sure you have a copy of your configuration files and script files in a "save" place. If you want to do an update take care of the following changes: - for the basic daq the CERN cvs has to be used - the lt.xml and settings.xml file is changed - exerces 1_6_0 is now the default packages ( try to upgrade although 1_4 should work). - if you do a make clean all files in the bin directories will be erased (so also data and log files).
